In the story “The Outsiders” There are two different kinds of gangs and the good one is called “The Greasers” and the bad one is called The Soc’s. “The Greasers” are the good kind of bad people like their not as bad as “The Soc’s” because the greasers are the ones who steal their food from the stores and the soc’s have beer fests and have parties and smoke and all this bad kind of stuff and they steal a whole bunch of stuff. In the first chapter the greaser boy named Ponyboy and his two brothers Sodapop and Darry. Darry is the oldest one and Sodapop is a little older then Ponyboy and they stick together because their mom and dad have died in a car crash a while ago. Some say that the Soc’s have gun and knifes all around them so they would hope not to run into them again. This first chapter Ponyboy is walking home when he is thinking about when his greaser gang go ambushed from the soc’s and then it happened. The red car came around the corner and the Soc’s came out and surrounded him. They held knifes and such for the way and he was pinned to the ground by their leader. Then Ponyboy screamed SODAPOP, DARRY HELP!!! Then in a matter of time they came and the Soc’s ran off into the car and drove away. Ponyboy was safe again and so on in the story the gangs are enemies and ran after each other and then Dali came and he was a bad man of crime he was put to jail when he was the years old. Now he is walking the streets with his old buds and he is going to have some fun.

    The one thing i liked most about the contacting with the kids in L.A was the voice thread we did withn them because wegot to now them a little bit like about their personal statics. It is pretty kool doing that with them and I liked it a lot.

The thing that was weired was that when we did the chat in the chat rooms because everyone was confused and everyone kept on getting kicked out and it was very funny. I was really messed up because we did everything together and I kept getting kicked out and I got really confused then cause I couldn’t awnser the questions that we needed to.

The blogs that did were pretty kool becaiuse we got to do lots of neat things and got to read other peoples blogs as well and they were pretty kool and I thought it was pretty kool and they probly did to.

The Bet && The Veldt

Similarities: The similarities of “The Bet” and “The Veldt” are they are both based on a crucial thing that could be very dangerous if you actually did it. These stories were meant to show people how things can be done so easily yet impossible. “The Veldt” and “The Bet” are both stories about taking their time and what are the consequences if things don’t go as planned. They both show that things aren’t impossible if you think of something smart and plan how you get it to work. These stories show a lot of time on their hand and are both pretty strange stories.

Dislikes: The dislikes of these stories are that “The Veldt” is two kids trying to kill people to make their own Never land. The results in the future for them are crimes and only to get what they want. The story shows that nothing is impossible if you try and they train tigers to kill so they can go to New York. The Bet shows a story about time and how is going to win the lawyer or the banker and the lawyer shows that he can learn something and show that he can do more then just win a bet. These stories have a lot not alike because they are also based on two different things and I think that there are more dislikes then they have alike.

Conclusion: My conclusion is that these stories are both great in their own way and I think they have a lot of detail and the stories sound like this has happened to lots of people and make it sound so real.

The bet is a story about a man and his lawyer and spending 15 years in jail. This story is really interesting as such and has a lot of detail in it. When readingthis story i saw that the characters were very real like i have known them from before thats pretty good for details and the way he makes them sound.

The story is really basic al well though because the man is in court and has fought his battle and lost even with a lawyer. He lost and must be in jail for 15 year so he and his partner had made a deal the lawyer will stay in jail for 15 years and the man would have to give him 2 million dollars. At 5 years the lawyer had nothing to do because he read lot’s of books and got tired of them and started thinking about history and politices. He had no problem with it them and he stayed on without giving up.

On, the ten year he started his way up to shake spery and more history books and novels. He had learner so much when he read all this he had been smarter thren he ever was before.

The year after that he had got into everything he could think of and he got tired and he thought of a idea after a while and made it happen. He went to bed a night before he could get out and the man was going to go out and kill him when he was sleeping. But he changed his mind because he was awake.  He was about to leave because he had five minutes left until he could leave. He left 5 minutes early because he wanted to show that nothing is impossible and he proved it.

  This is a story related to an other old but not long made before “The Veldt” was ”Peter Pan”. The reason I say this is because this story was related to Peter Pan and his Neverland. Peter and Wendy in the story the Veldt are loving how the nursery is going and love spending time their and playing and looking at the lions. This story is mostly about kids wanting their own Neverland and they do it by killing their parents. The names came from Peter Pan and the auther wanted to show that this story is just like Peter Pan and he wanted people to think about it. It is really weired but he had tried to make it a little different from Peter Pan and how he did this was instead of the kids just going to Neverland by Peter Pan taking the little girl. This syory shows how the kids try and make their own Neverland by killing their parents so they can do what ever they want to do.

   This story is a little insane how the kids just want to kill the parents because they can’t do anything they want to do and they get really mad so they get a idea. This idea is they went and trained their lions to kill thei parents by get them to now the scent of their parents. Peter and Wendy did all they could to do it and they did it but nnow they had to make them come down to the lions and so Wendy and Peter could lock the door and the lions would slatter the parents.

   I think the kids should just face the fact that everyone has to deal with rules by their parents and their arn’t the only ones with that problem. They shouldn’t have killed their parents because they were loves and cared for by them and now they just messed everything up. At the end of this story the man comes to take the kids away from the parents because he thinks that is the best thing he could do for the poor kids. But little that he nows he see’s the parents dead in the cage with the lions and Wendy asks him. Would you like a cup of tea.

  Wendy and Peter I think are going to strike again on the guy how was supposed to take the kids away. I wouldn’t want to be that man if I was at their house.

The chinese are pretty cool people I think that they should train people their fighting moves bbecause if anyone i want to be a fighter like they are. Just incase I got attacked and I couldn’t defend myself I could beat them up and run away safely. I now a lot about the chinese from the books and letters and stuff of them and i found out that. If you were a trained warrior you could jump of a roof say and land this one perfect way and it would hurt at all. I am going to try it one day maybe and hopefully. I hope that when I try and do it I wont mess up and like break my back or another bone in my body.

The chinese are very speacial people as well because they give a lot of respect and pray a lot and lots of faith with in them. It is amazing how they can do so much but only get little in return. I think that if i tried to be faithful and whorship their great one I would not do it all that great. They real idea about them is that they of all people now most about almost everything because a lot of people in china are the creators of a lot of stuff we use all around us. I wish I was chinese because then I could have my own trainer and I would be protected most of the time is someone tired to attack me.

So in the end I am not a chinese and I dont think I ever will be sadly, but you never now I could have cousins or something I hope.
